An Poc Fada was opened in November 1998. With a massive refurbishment done, it was designed in old style Irish with a hint of modern Ireland mixed with Gothic features and creative art work. We pride ourselves in the warm feeling of a homely atmosphere leading back to our centrepiece, an open fireplace. We cater for all from small parties to sporting events and top of the list….a damn good pint…..see you soon! We show live sporting events on 4 big screens plus a heated beer garden (Monaghan Town’s only one!) with a large big screen….lovely when the weather is good. An Poc Fada caters for all functions, ranging from hen parties, stag nights and birthdays, to work related social get-togethers. Finger food is available on request.
